None of yall, after a 0 -3 start , have started a "Fire Udoka" thread yet. I was certain I would see one by now. Good job guys. Blame goes to Stone, not Udoka, for the albatross contracts of Brooks and FVV.
Ime's the right man. Brooks is fine. The Harden deal was fantastic...esp. giiven the circumstances. Jabari, Alpi, Tari, Cam, Amen....all good. The jury's still out on JG, but if he doesn't show enough by the deadline, put him in a deal. FVV sucks. Figured as much. At least we'll use that contract as planned for a BBD. Stone has had a large margin of error to work with. And, I still can't believe he passed on Mobley, but it could be worse.
We are going to find out if Udoka is a good coach or was just at the right place at the right time in Boston.
I agree with this. I can't believe Mobley wasn't taken over Green but it's hindsight bias now. Mobley would be the perfect PF next to Sengun at center and Jabari at SF While Jalen is a defensive liability for everyone else
Who cares how much they’re making. Who else was available and better and wouldn’t have taken time for the guys we want to develop? And if you wanted multiple players for that money, whose playtime are you reducing? brooks is the bad contract. FVV was a deliberate overpay to pry him away from better teams and structured to just be a placeholder to ensure salary floor and future flex.
