Veteran presence for player development. Is that not hard to grasp? We have lacked that for the past 3 years, Rockets front office set our youngsters to fail when they didn't allow John Wall to do that in year 1.
Someone had to get paid........ and FVF won't beat women, attack coaches, take over practices and bully young players or accuse the organization of being slave owners while refusing to leave the arena - so the organization figured that was an improvement over the prior head honcho.
When he was with the Cavs, Porter refused to leave the arena and got into a fight with the CAVS GM... attempted to physically fight the GM.... and referred to the CAVS as being slave owners and that he was being treated like a slave...... then security came in and removed the moron from the arena before.... Also, KPJ in Cleveland forgot to put on his jersey once and missed the beginning of a game, so the CAVS had someone check before every game that he had his jersey on.
Oh Cleveland, at 19. yeah he is an immature idiot, especially then. I don’t care about Cleveland, just Houston. DD
Right - that type of thinking is what lead to the Porter experiment blowing up in Stone's face. What he did months before he joined the Rockets IS relevant .... and that played out in this case with Rockets and Porter.
I 100% disagree with that. The Rockets taking a look at a troubled very talented player especially while tanking is smart business. The Rockets enabling a troubled player - is the problem - nothing wrong with giving him a shot, but it should have been under a strict set of guidelines....instead of a "do whatever you want" type of deal. THAT was the problem not taking a look in the first place, and IMHO it hurt both KPJ and the Rox.... DD

Same VanVleet who has been one of the worst shot selectors in the league This guy supposedly was to bring us wins to make the "Play-In" and provide leadership, culture, winning attitude. You know when family members compliment your girlfriend (to you) for having a nice personality (and that only)....it means they don't think your girlfriend is pretty. Well Clutchfans are telling most of us VanVleet has a nice personality (can lead).... they are conveniently leaving out the winning now part to make the "Play-In" San Antonio was suppose to be a win and now the Hornets tomorrow. If we don't beat the Hornets we may not be too successful in these first 20 games. There are a lot of losses there for the Rockets to completely disintegrate with if they don't watch out. Might find themselves repeating or doing worse than last year's schedule from hell to start last season. Without spacing, I continue to see losses though, unfortunately
I think you do get it, you just don't like it. Surprised you didn't get the Sengun steamroller telling how we did get a generational talent, you just don't like it.
Fred does not match the fake ambition of Tilman, Stone was blaring out his take on 'we have all cap space in the world'. This was abysmal but Fred is decent player, just not a star.
