    Anyway, this should not happen.

There will always be bad apples.

But when you look at the Twitter comments, you see the difference.

When something similar happened to Jewish students, the Muslim commenters were almost unanimously cheering it on. Here, almost all the Israeli/Jewish commenters condemn this and say it is wrong.

If your mom or kid were held hostage by a group of terrorists, and the local authorities decided to just shoot both parties and end up killing the whole lot will u accept the justification of the killing? We had to kill the terrorists and sadly the innocent folks that were used human shields are collateral damage, it had to be done.

    • SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has offered his Starlink internet services to aid organizations in Gaza.

    • Communications and internet connectivity have been shut down in Gaza since Friday.

    • Israel's communications minister said the country would fight the effort.
Elon Musk said that Starlink satellite internet will be made available to aid organizations in Gaza after communications were cut off late Friday.

Internet and cellular services in the Gaza Strip went down after Israel bombarded the territory. It then began its first ground incursions into Gaza.

The emergency 101 telephone number wasn't working, meaning that ambulances could not be called. Many journalists and aid workers in the Gaza Strip were also out of contact, outlets including The Guardian reported.

Israel's communications minister, , later responded to Musk's post on X, saying Israel would fight against the SpaceX CEO's effort to offer Starlink to Gaza.

I’m sure the Red Cross, alerting the US military where it will be for cover to provide humanitarian aid will be working the terrorists.

It is a disgusting situation all the way around.

We have dehumanization on both sides.

We have antiquated religions fueling a lot of this.

    We have propaganda.

Geo politics - and the worst is coming out in people.

Israel best not bomb any hospitals regardless. You can't say evacuate a hospital to nowhere. I don't want a bomb stamped "Made In USA" targeting a hospital. No thank you! Netanyahoo isn't going to convince me otherwise. LEAVE THE F-ING HOSPITALS BE!

One side calls the other animals undeserving of mercy. The other escalates while voices of reason are silenced for being weak and passive.

Only bone wrenching pain will jolt either side to pause the madness.

Not to necessarily defend everything Israel does, but there's actually a reason for Israel to get mad about this. It's well known that Hamas has basically forced every NGO in Gaza to hand over portions of every aid shipment to Hamas (which they then sell to their own citizens for a profit). Additionally, Hamas has exerted a lot of control of the operations of aid organizations as well.

So Israel's argument is that extending starlink to aid organizations will likely end up giving access to Hamas. And frankly, I don't disagree with the argument.

Now with that said, aid organizations also have to function because countless people rely on them (now more than ever) so I also understand the other side of the argument.

But like most things in this conflict, this isn't black and white. There is nuance to everything but for whatever reason this particular issue causes people to take hard lines and view everything through very specific lenses.
