Vegas does not lose money from the Rockets not covering a spread, their lines are made so they can make a certain amount of juice and the spread is determined by a balance of people taking either sides, their goal is to make a spread by doing this. The times when Vegas can lose is if someone comes in and places large bets on one side and the line does not adjust enough for there to be counter bets on the other side.

It is similar to how a stock brokerage works with a bid/ask spread.

 

What? Not quite understanding

 

FVV was trash tonight. If he would have played better that could have easily been the difference. How much is Gary Payton II getting paid versus FVV? Sickening reality.

 

Disgusting. If any of us had seats provided for us by our companies, I bet we’d be supporting our team instead of leaving all those seats empty. I hated how Curry was getting loud cheers towards the end of the game

 

this team's defense is too good. I know it doesn't mean much but even the Warriors announcers at the end of the game said this team is going to win a lot more than 22 just from their baseline competence on D alone.

Offense for a new team, new system takes time to gel. I'll be really really concerned about the offense if it's this bad past the quarter mark.

 

What a farce...Jabari was sitting on the bench while we were getting it rammed to us...going from having a lead to going down 9 pts. I think. My goodness...find another scapegoat there are several others available..trust me.

 

I mean if we had won that SAS game like we should have this does not feel as bad. Once Curry was playing you knew we were going to lose. He'll probably sit out the next game too, what a *****, decided to bully us for another game for no reason.

Well, next game is winnable.

Our Best Offense will be Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun Pick and Roll with Jabari Smith, Dillon Brooks Stand in the Corner 3 Point Shots.

Fred VanVleet can't shoot and needs to be Replaced with Cam Playing SF, Dillon to SG, Jalen as PG

Jalen Green is really similar to Jamaal Murray a SG playing PG with Nikola Jokic, Nikola is a Point Center

 

Ime had a big say in FVV and Brooks.

AT was consensus best player available.

Agreed. FVV, Jalen, Jabari, Sengun all played relatively bad games and it was competitive until last few minutes against the Warriors. Defense is country miles better than last year.

 

FVV scored 46 points, dished out 21 assists in 3 games.
Harden has zeroes in 3 games.

 

Need him badly

 

This team could be 2-1 just as easily as 0-3 if it wasn't for some bad breaks in overtime and Steph Curry going fugeo the last 4 minutes.
