I live in Abilene, Tx and sitting through last season only able to see a couple of games just isn't going to cut it again this year. I was wondering if any of you guys knew of a way to watch the games over the internet through some kind of subscription or something...
NBA League Pass for Directv. That's what I'm doing from Dallas. If you get in early, it will be about $200 and change w/ tax for the whole season.
Its that expensive for Directv? I got LP from Time Warner in Austin and it was like $170, I guess thats close enough to $200. But its worth it Friendo, its a lot of money, but you will find yourself watching a lot of basketball games.
The Rox game chat is definitely the best. Seriously, is there another site in the world that does PBP of every single game during a season. Even if there was something equivalent in the world it'd probably be soccer. And just imagine those chats: to helmut to jacobs to diderickson to lerner stolen by 5 to 13 to 8 to 56 we get it back to helmut to tobin Well you get the idea.
I am new to this posting thing . . . usually just read . . . but i just moved to paris . . . i know . . . france . . . is there anyway to hear or see rockets from abroad? thanks, toby
Yes, there is a french Pay-TV-station named Canal+ that shows NBA games live. It's basically the same as NBA TV.
nWo34Life, I'm in UT Dallas, could the league pass work with comcast cable? And what would be a good places to catch a Rockets game in Dallas(Under 21)?
LegendZ3, To answer your question.. YES.. I did the comcast thing last year. Just call them and you can pick your payment type. 1) In Full 2) 2 Payments 3) 4 Payments.. Happy Watching
Umm, I think Comcast has it, but I don't know how much it is. You could try any of the sports bars since they will carry Directv. I use to do that, but then I thought to just pay the $200 + tax and get it myself. Well worth it. Humperdinks comes to mind. A while back, we had a Dallas get-together to watch a game, but I forgot what the restaurant/bar we went to. It was somewhere off of 75 North. RM95, desihooper, and there a few others there then, and they might know.
Direct TV or cable or satellite won't do you any good if you live within the radius of Houston that voids you from being able to view Rocket telecasts. I live in Beaumont about 100 miles from Houston and the Rocket games are not telecast; even some ESPN games have been blacked out - now that reaelly sucks! I am resigned to waiting for the new Rockets/Astros broadcasting system to come into play which I believe is 2005/2006. If they don't solve my problem I guess I will have to become a Lakers fan as long as Rudy is there. Jeff or Clutch or ? - do you have any additional info that would make my situation and others more positive for the future? ONe can get Radio Pass of the web for Rocket and Comet games; and I believe SOME telecasts are available but I don't know the details; although the cost would certainly not be $200 bucks. Thanks
P.S. to Clutch Find a way to solve the problem of getting fans radio and TV broadcasts easily from your website and THAT would be worth some serious donations to your site. By the way, I figured out that my count on messages submitted never changes - is that because I need to contribute?
there is a way......if you know how...the latter half of last season was made available via bittorrent....but you didnt hear that from here...:shhhh:
I Have Direct TV and got to see everygame now for 2 years on TV51 or ESPN or NBAtv...I have NEVER been blacked out!!
