Doesn't really matter. The team will continue to prioritize higher draft picks at the expense of better players and we'll continue to be a joke because of it.
If the dudes they keep drafting at 14, 18, and 20 are better than the ones drafted at 2, 3, and 4, they'll be a joke regardless of prioritization.
Can't dribble, can't pass, can't defend in the paint, can't defend on the perimeter, can't make 3's, is unathletic, bad around the rim unless it's wide open dunk, has bad handles. Am i looking at the worst player has ever lived?
So you’re saying Rafael’s later firsts are better than his top 5 picks? Alperen >>> Jalen Tari >>> Jabari ¿Cam >>> Amen? Jalen Green Alperen Sengun Usman Garuba Josh Christopher Jabari Smith Tari Eason TyTy Washington Jr. Amen Thompson Cam Whitmore Cade, Mobley, Barnes, Giddey, Wagner … don’t need to wait 3 years but give him more time. Paolo, Chet, Keegan, Ivey, Mathurin, Sharpe, Sochan … don’t need to wait 2 years but him some time. Sengun and Tari played under the same inept coach (while being less prioritized).
When it comes to lotto picks, Stone seems to always draft whoever the media hypes up the most. Jalen Green over less popular Evan Mobley (who made all-defense 1st team last year) Jabari Smith Jr. over less popular Keegan Murray (who would be a perfect fit for us, shoots 41% from the 3)
Sochan closing the game with one-handed FTs while Jabari can't even make a single FT to ice it... smh
I don't care as much about bari's offense. I think he can still be on there bc I think his shooting is mental when the lights turn on. A wide open 3 in summer league is the same as a wide open 3 in a reg season game in terms of difficulty so the fact that he can't make it in regular season is mental. Young players can overcome that What I am more worried about is the defense. He was hyped as not as good offensively as banchero but significantly better defensively and it seems like everyone scores on him
He's not good and he's mentally weak. It was clearly the case last year and nothing appears to have changed.
Why is it I get grilled for having wanted C Wood back??? Guarantee he would’ve made a free throw or a freaking wide open three pointer. His defense is certainly no worse than Jabrari. Only one thing that Jabrari does well and that is being tall. Tari is ten times the player, but that would make our lineup wayyy too small. At least we find out now if Jabrari isn’t any good before we give him $100 million. Always thought he could be a mini Durant, but have seen enough to think he’s more a mini Stromile Swift.
