Rockets are too short and too thin on the entire roster and that’s the real problem.

If his numbers end up looking the same as last year it'll probably be similar to the Vassell extension.

i rewatched Magic game, jalen literally a turnover machine in that game, i dunno where jalen's pressure comes from, he just all thumbs lol. also it's pretty like last season, when he attacked the rim, he looked so afraid of contact in the air, nothing changed, no improvement!

Its hard to dunk on people in the NBA. Jalen needs to refine his jumpshot and use start and stop speed to his benefit. He keeps going for all the highlight reel stuff and its not only failing, but also creating more issues mentally for him. Just put the ball in the basket the more boring the better.

You talking about Jalen Green's "Looming Extension" while the Rockets have yet to pick up his 4th year option.
They have until 10/31/23 (Next Tuesday) to do so or Green becomes an Unrestricted Free Agent at the conclusion of this season.

Jalen also doesn't know how to dunk on bigger players. His left arm should be in the defenders chest or neck area. He never uses it so he never gains a physical advantage in the air. He also has the hang time to do more reverse layups. Just bring the ball down against some of these shot blockers and reverse it on the other side. He just goes straight up and shows the ball too early. His technique is why he gets so many dunks blocked. It's actually a simple fix for someone with his athletism.

He has to be better & tougher to be a lead dog on a NBA contender. Stop turning the ball over, compete on defense and stop running from contact.. These are fixable issues but he’s got to grow up.

He doesnt have a plan. He should have counters ready, but he just gets up and figures he'll just outhang everyone, but in the NBA its just not like that. He needs to create space like you say, but also have the play understood so he can stop and pop or launch skip passes from the gravity he creates. I hope Udoka and film practice can help Jalen see these things earlier in a play.

Mobley has Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Max Strus, and Jarret Allen insulating him, but somehow Mobley is the catalyst there??? LOL

Letting them hit RFA is how you explore what the market would pay them.

This has been happening since he was 19. Green legit plays like he's Giannis or Zion.
