Sorry if this has been posted... Man, what an amazing movie. One of the funniest, touching, and moving pictures I've ever seen. Definitely worth the hype.
Glad to hear it. My good friend Jim Parsons is in it. I directed him in ten or fifteen plays with my company in Houston before he moved away to make it big. He's got two more movies coming out soon, but most of you would know him as the guy who suckles a wolf's teat in that Quizno's commercial.
I could only find one theatre in the Houston area (including Conroe and The Woodlands). It would be nice if some of the bigger theatres would try taking a chance on some of these more low budget movies.

Well they must have been reading my mind, because last week I could only find one theatre. I guess after they saw it do well in some of the other places, they thought they might as well bring it in. Still don't have it at the Woodlands Cinemark.
Man, I wanna see this movie just because of the soundtrack. This movie first got my attention with the Postal Service's "Such Great Heights" being played on the commercial. Now I look at the soundtrack and they include: Iron and Wine, Coldplay, Nick Drake. I have never seen a soundtrack with selections I listen to on a consistent basis. Plus I would do mean things to Natalie Portman
My wife went to high school with him. When she saw the Quiznos commercial she freaked out. We were going to see this, anyway, now it will be cooler.
hmm... i thought it was explosively funny at times. but it finished weak. still... much better than your average movie.
