Squaring this loss up on the defense is a miscalculation for sure. Low effort 1st half, turnovers and 40% from the field.

 

At least we know Ime isn’t a magician like folks portrayed him to be. Oh he’s human

Our problem is we're just too small in the paint. Sengun played well but if you're getting pushed around, you're just too small.

Sengun to small, Jalen too light in the ass, same for Jabari

This team definitely needs Tari back, but holy **** I’m starting to think tanking for 3 years got us a bunch of role players.

I'm not going to say he's overrated after one game. You have to give a new coach at least a season or two. If he's implementing new stuff and the players aren't getting it, I don't know if I'm blaming the coach immediately. Let's let him figure it out.

 

Came back to add I don't see any "franchise" players. Some solid rotation guys at best.

 

I think the Rockets fooled us fans with their nice Lake Charles videos, but refused to even comment further on the KPJ case....

I wasn't on board with signing Harden initially but that was because I thought we'd sign FVV to a much cheaper contract. Instead we paid him what we could've just gave Harden.

My mind knows that we have 81 more games and a lot more growth to go through. My inner fan, however, is raging into the void.

Yeah, Orlando was bigger and more physical. Now I do feel the refs did not let us get phyiscal back, you can tell after the half our guys started matching their physical play then the refs for whatever reason went like a whole 3 mins calling every foul they could imagine and then we came back in with that Amen and Green lineup and that was it.

I'm always more interested in teams react to failure rather than success.

I remember People were ready to call Demeco overrated too the first like 3 games and then it turned out he knew what he was doing and some time should be given.

I mean this is obvious. Anyone saying Ime, who coached a team to the finals, is just as bad as Silas that person is overreacting.

It's actually not an overreaction with Jabari and Jalen though, those guys still need to prove it. Ime has already proven to be a good coach though. It's now more about if the players are good and how many wins he can get out of this team.

If Jalen and Jabari in particular play like this we'll be drafting top 5 again. The season rides on their play and supposed improvement.

 

I meant on Offense, the Boston Celtics were not really good on Offense either but they got by with JB and Tatum.

He has not proven anything on Offense....without two Star players.
