No, the basic principle from your previous posts doesn't stand. Just acknowledge that you erred, take the L and move on. I see you are now trying to come with a new equation, but you didn't understand what assist percentage meant and made some very erroneous assumptions on what it all adds up to.
I don't think he's a franchise player material (#2 or #3 option on a contender in his prime) but he's the best young prospect in the team followed by Tari Eason. The rest of the young core (#2 #3 and #4) are not even close to these 2 in terms of playing winning basketball.
Imagine my shock. Another NBA game. Another blatantly obvious example Sengun is not only the best player on the team - but infinitely better than the guy in the same draft class the organisation just has to prop up because they want to save face having picked him with the #2 pick. Stop making Jalen Green happen. It's pretty f*cking obvious he's not going to happen. Inb4 this post is bumped 26 games from now when Green hits 7/8 of his 3s.
The Coaching Stuff dont respect Sengün! The Film tear of the Film was, where Moritz Wagner fouled Sengün and the Ref called the foul on Sengün. He wanted that the Udoka Challenge this but he didnt! It was the second or the third foul of Sengün. Why did he benched him?!! After this stupid action of Udoka Sengün was out of the game! I think that Sengün was hard disappointed after this desicion of Udoka. I thought i saw Silas last night on Houstons Bench! WTF is that! Amen and Jalen can throw successifely every position and get no punishment of the Coaching Stuff but if Sengün do anything what Udoka dont like he is directly benched if he made a very strong game or not! Udoka prevented that Sengün get a tripple double last night! Realy sad this man! I know now what charakter this man is!
It's becoming increasingly more insane to suggest that he's not the best player on this team. + He can't shoot tho - Our #2, #3, #4 picks can't shoot either. + He can't defend - He's better perimeter, naturally better rim protector than Jalen (by couple million miles) and he's clearly better defender than Jabari who gets beat on the perimeter and can't defend the rim. Though i believe he'll improve on that side. + He's undersized - He's 6'11ish. Vucevic-Adebayo-Wendel are starters for their teams and they are 6'10. + He's hard to build around. - Try building around Jabari and Green. If you actually believe that it's easier to build around a 6'6 inefficient chopstick with average bbiq and a dude who can't create his own shoot, can't dribble you are INSANE.
You can build your Offense only arround Van Vleet and Sengün. All other player are not serious enough to give them the responsibility! If you make 1 or 2 TO in row you must keep calm but this young guys give a **** about the team! They want only the ball to do something for looking good on a position. This not the Pre Season! The Season began last night and this kids are fking selfish! I saw only 5 Player who are not selfish: Van Vleet Sengün Landale Brooks Tate All other guys arent Teamplayer right now! I stand up in the night to watch this new Roaster of the Rockets and i had a big hope to see an other Season as the last 2 years but if they play like last night, you can fast forgot this new season. Talent ist not the only thing what you need to get to the Play Offs.
Too bad Alpe is not playing like a PF because he is more built like a PF. You would need a bigger Center. He would do better on other teams that have a big Center.
I think the way the Rockets are built is not scientific. Alpe might be alright on other teams but on a Rockets team with 3 positions that are too small....nah.
He is our best player, but he is not a franchise player, yet. Now we see why I wanted Lively in the draft. DD
I think the thing with the Rockets is that they have this idea in their head of who has the highest ceiling in the team. In their current model, Green and Jabari have the highest ceiling out of our non-rookie players. They also had that idea with KPJ, which is why they devoted so much time into making him the head honcho. So their philosophy is, lets gamble on the guys who we think we can either flip for a superstar, or turn into a superstar. Green and Smith were high draft picks, so they're all in on those two. We will see if that works out.
