Lol I'm assuming you have much higher expectations for Amen with that description.

Is Amen and Green separates by 5 inches? Nowhere when they were on the court together did I think Amen was 5 inches taller.

Also prime Drose has better handles than Beal.

 

Boban: 7'3 Chuck Hayes (who stays at 22 forever)

Amen: 6'7 Westbrook (with a brain)

 

The Rockets aren't competing with dynamic duos against the rest of the league, they know they already have everyone else beat. They are trying to figure out which is the best dynamic duo on the team between the following:

21s - GREEN & SENGUN
22s - SMITH & EASON
23s - THOMPSON & WHITMORE

Now that's tough to rank.

 

anyone else getting early 2000 pistons vibes? we won't have a true superstar but man our team is going to have depth and balance across the board.

 

Hopefully that Nets '24 Pick comes in high and the Rockets can pick up a legit Big Man.

Potential Future Lineup:

PG - Amen Thompson (6-7)
SG - Jalen Green (6-4)
SF - Jabari Smith Jr. (6-11)
PF - Alperen Sengun (6-11)
..C - Nets '24 Pick (7-1)

 

So name two players on that Pistons team with Green and Amen ceilings.

 

Just pretend they drafted Melo/Bosh/CP3 instead of Darko

 

I actually think the dynamic duo for us right now is likely to be Jalen and Jabari. The trump card is we could be looking at a Trio (Jalen, Jabari, Amen) with some pretty significant sidemen (Sengun, Tari, maybe Cam) to compete with a lot of duos...

 

Still would need to see Amen and Cam in star modes though.......those are the two.
