He was doing EXACTLY what the org told him to do, if you want to blame someone blame Silas and Stone. Definitely was emotional and at times lazy and so was everyone else on the team. Whatever he is gone, we are both ok with it. DD
I don’t care if he resurrects his career. He has already been given lots of opportunities. I get so sick of hearing excuses for people born into bad situations. Every day people born in horrible situations don’t repeat the mistakes they saw growing up. Lots of kids lose their fathers or grow up in poverty and around violence and they don’t repeat it. Kevin Porter’s problem isn’t because he didn’t have a dad or because of where he grew up in Washington. His problem is that he has mental illness and he has made the decision to not successfully treat it and as a result others suffer. I know a number of people that grew up in terrible situations and they don’t use it as an excuse.
I agree he needs treatment - hopefully now he gets it. However, what you call excuses are sometimes what other people call reasons. But we have enough bad crap going on in this world, KPJ is just a grain of sand on a beach compared to other stuff and he is gone now. DD

No one is defending what he did off the court, but on the court - we miss his skillset - when plays break down we don't have a guy to consistently beat his man and score efficiently - hopefully others will step up. KPJ never consistently beat his man to score efficiently. You must be talking about someone else, because we did not have such a player since James Harden. KPJ was a mediocre shooting guard precisely because he couldn't breakdown the defense at the perimeter which led to a ton of overdribbling and inefficient attempts at the basket. He is actually just mediocre at everything that makes a good point guard. Mediocre finisher，mediocre vision, mediocre foul drawing, mediocre free throws, mediocre mid range. KPJ was a actually good catch and shoot player, not sure why you think that's so irreplaceable.
