I'm more excited about Yordan at 3 - just get one runner on and it might be 2-0 in the first.

How many of you were secretly hoping McCormick would be ahead of Tucker in the lineup tonight?

At least for this year, the Astros in Minute Maid Park doesn't give me that much confidence.

It's a terrible feeling to have and I don't like it.

my exact reaction when I read what Chas said. doesn't sound too confident at all but it could just read that way

I wonder, has there ever been an MLB team be undefeated on the road in the post season and NOT make the World Series at least?

History today, we going to end the 0-2 to start at home LCS and never reached to the World Series.

Just a motivational speech for my fellow comrades (plagiarized from Independence Day):

We are once again fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution, but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live.. to exist. And should we win today, it will be known as the day that the Astros declared in one voice that WE WILL NOT GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT, WE WILL NOT VANISH WITHOUT A FIGHT. We're going to live on. We're going to survive. Today we celebrate our Pennant Day!!

    Nerves are starting to hit.

They should just set up a 1-1 boxing match between Dusty and Bruce. Whoever wins moves on to the WS.

Win, or lose, this Astros run is the best sustained winning I have experienced as a fan in my life. We will never see this again and I thank them. I am not ready for the winning to end, but I will accept any result with as much grace as I can muster.

I feel two ALCS games essentially is worth 15 regular season games for suspension purposes...

Chaz who can go to right field with the best of them could have swatted an away fastball into the gap in right center all the way to the wall plating all 3 runs.

Singleton was a complete joke of a choice. It's not like he did anything the night before except keep the bat on his shoulders thank God.

While I do agree with you I would have liked to see Chaz in there. Singleton actually had a very good AB FWIW. He struck out on Ball 4, but it was too borderline to take given how the ump was calling things.

Javier scares me, he usually has base runners and puts himself in tough situations but always comes out unscathed

We won't continue to be that lucky.

Bats need to wake up and I think they will tonight
