Not with the way Jabari has been playing and considering we (unfortunately) decided to pay one of the worst offensive players in the NBA $22M a year and pencil him as the starter for sure no matter what

I agree about Jabari. He should have a helluva career. And, Brooks will be a good fit.

But, I see Tari picking up around 24-27 minutes/gm.

Eh, 24-27.... could be. We have a lot of guys who need minutes though. Amen and Cam could play some at the 3. Uncle Jeff and Tate might be in line for some minutes at the 4. Just doesn't leave a lot of room. If we were running an 8 man rotation, maybe. But I don't think we will be

It’s sad Tari is hurt but also he doesn’t have to rush back - Brooks is more than capable in the interim, we got Uncle Jeff around too. The team will be fine and when Tari returns I imagine Jeff gets some much preferred rest because he can’t play 20+ minutes night after night anymore. He’ll get some burn while Tari is out along with Tate and Brooks and when he returns he will maintain a much lighter schedule.

Jeff didn’t come to this team hunting minutes - he understands how he can be useful to a young team and still be valuable out there and at this stage he can bring a ton of value in practice and from the bench.

I know everyone is talking Jeff and Tate to fill in the time and that's probably fair, but I see a huge window of opportunity here for Whitmore. In fact, Eason should even be a little worried if Whitmore gets on a roll. I love Eason as much as the next fan but Udoka is already putting Whitmore to the test and he's passing with flying colors. Just sayin'.

I don't think it's Eason OR Whitmore. They'll both have roles. If Whitmore gets more minutes because of this and shines I think it's someone like Tate that should be worried.

Is this the same injury he suffered during preseason? And they actually put him back in the game after getting hurt. Smh

Basically sounds like something is getting worse or is getting a worse reaction to the initial injury.
