Lidge was absolutely unhittable until Steroid Boy launched that moonshot.

Which one? The Cardinal one or the Giant One?

2004 Brad Lidge was the most dominant season for an Astros closer that I have ever seen.

He was only the closer for half the season. Dotel was the closer till he was traded.

Pressly still looks shaky at times. If Semien didn’t hit it right into Kessinger yesterday, it would have been a tied game.

Lol then this board would be talking about how much he sucks and they don’t trust him. Baseball is wild.

I loved Joe Sambito but he had very few post season opportunities and wasn't good - shame.

The Cardinal one. Hit a home run clear through the roof at Minute Maid Park. At least it seemed like it.

Billy Wagner is headed to the Hall of Fame - just a better career.

Pressly is underrated though and - as this Astros era can tell you, getting it done in the post season is a different animal all together.

Still - I have to go with Wagner.

Wagner>Pressly when looking at their overall careers. But Pressly had a much bigger impact on the franchise, IMO.
