Yeah it should be a compliment. He's basically saying Altuve is clutch. Knows he comes through at big moments.
I don’t think Abreu hit him on purpose either - but if the Astros win this series it will only add to the Astros mystique because right now it looks like the Astros are a tiger messing with their pray… from beating Texas in the head to head regular season, to winning the division, to coming back down 0-2, to beating the Rangers heads in while in Arlington … to plunking the guy the hit the homer off Verlander and got out of pocket - to having the Astros closer go two innings… and then having Altuve absolute piss all over the Dallas MetroPlex area.
Just rewatched the 9th inning. When Carter struck out I was like "Hey Carter, did you see that pitch, or were you looking at the girl in the red sweater?"
Bochy is right, how dare the Astros force Garcia to act like a man child throwing a tantrum as he rounded the bases after he hit a home run, how dare they force Garcia to stomp on home base and make it seem like he was showing the Astros up so badly that any pitch close to him would have seemed as intentional payback…stupid cheating Astros controlling the other teams emotionally unstable players…
This team. remember the 80’s and 90’s? I would’ve killed for this as a kid or teenager. I know they will take care of business and get that home win. Game 6 or 7 it’s gonna happen. No way 2019 happens again.
Altuve is the greatest Astro ever. Yeah he has flaws. He is simply the greatest Astro ever. It’s not close, folks. Heart and soul and face of this organization.
