If they want to show the umps view for a replay I'm fine with it but the live shot should be the normal perspective.

 

That's why the Astros need to just lay back and not swing, make Montgomery throw strikes throughout each AB

 

Yeah it's actually pretty cool as a replay but 100% agree on live pitches

 

I know I'm not a pro, but I don't get them swinging at those balls in the dirt when they start out of the zone to begin with. It's one thing if it starts in the zone and breaks. But man, they are **** pitches making him looking great.

 

Yes a couple runs would allow JV to go deeper with less stress for us!

I remember reading that Nolan Ryan had a lot of no win quality starts is that sometimes the offense doesn’t play as well becaue subconsciously they’re counting on the great pitcher. I think that might’ve been a thing with some of those killer B teams especially in 98.
