Glad it’s been “solved” but with all the lying this dude has done over the years, can you really accept everything he says as the full truth? What angers me is he will serve his Peruvian and Us sentence concurrently and will, presumably, serve the entire sentence for Halloway in Peru as he got 20 in the US for Halloway and 28 for the girl in Peru. If he’s released early, he’ll be extradited to serve rest of sentence in the US.
I remember this case. Horrible. I had no idea he tried to sell information about the location of her remains to her mother. He asked for $250,000. What a nightmare.
man I remember this case! just learned.... dude killed another girl 5 years later! He was in Peruvian prison and married a Peruvian woman who was selling goods inside the prison now got extradited to the US for his extortion charges and confessed to the original killing.
everytime he has wanted something, he offers to make some kind of confession. he's getting a plea deal this time around.
