I'm not gonna pretend I don't know any of these guys. I've seen them all play in summer league and the preseason garbage minutes. That said, none of them are even Trevelin Queen level. Doubt any are in the NBA in 2 years. I'm already a big nobody hater and this is the worst crop of nobodies we've had in years.

One of Oladipo/JRE will be cut. Hopefully JRE but o don’t see a spot for either. JRE needs development. We already have plenty of guys that need that. Oladipo is at the point where he would want to play for contenders only. Trade him to the Suns.
Oladipo will 100% not be cut. The rockets just spent two draft picks to get his contract for future trade flexibility. Otherwise they would have just cut kpj.
I like Boban, but man, there is not place for him on the roster... Dont care for Mayer, didnt see much from him. Days, Samuels and Williams were pretty solid...Hudgins and Hinton were great during Summer League
The addition of Dipo and JRE means all the guys without a contract are gone: Mayer, Williams and Hinton. They can still play in RGV if nobody signs them. Dipo is 100% staying Rox just paid 2 srps for him. For the guys with contracts, one of these need to be cut: JRE, Days, Hudgins, Samuels, Boban. Boban is like the team mascot at this point highly unlikely he gets cut since he is brought in for "character" reasons. Days is basically the no 1 2 way player he kept beasting in RGV so I think other guys are gone before him. So therefore my guess is either JRE, Hudgins or Samuels get cut. JRE is an outsider and injury prone so it's possible the FO like their guys more who have already bought in the system. Hudgins is limited to only playing pg and the Rox have a ton of guards FVV, Amen, Jalen, Bullock and now Dipo. Samuels is basically a carbon copy of Days and has been with the team less thanDays. If it were up to me I'd see how JRE performs first. If he doesn't scrap and try hard on D I'd just waive him. If he is decent and healthy then I'd waive Samuels.
Hudgins, Days, and Samuels are on 2-way contracts (starting this year there are 3 spots) and don't need to be waived. Rockets have FVV Brooks Jalen Jeff Oladipo Smith Thompson Landale Tate Sengun Eason Whitmore Bullock That's 13 who aren't going anywhere at the moment, then you have Robinson-Earl (1.9 mill guaranteed) Marjanovic (1.3 mill guaranteed) Holiday (1 mil guaranteed) With Hinton, Williams, and Mayer, who have 0 guaranteed money on training camp deals. 2 roster spots are left, and 6 guys are competing for them, seems most likely Boban and Holiday make the team, FO could surprise us though. JRE and the training camp guys are also eligible for 2-way deals if we choose to waive any of our current 2-way players.
This is my point Rox have 18 roster spots, 15 rotation and 3 2 ways. That's why I think one of the 2 ways and JRE are the suspects to get cut. Also Aaron Holiday who I forgot is on the team.
