    I am honestly shocked that Presti did this deal. Why? I don't see much value especially since Oladipo is an expiring. The Thunder do not need 2nd round picks. They need to shed 2nd round picks actually. I'll hardly ever say a team has too many picks, and I think the Rockets don't have ENOUGH picks moving forward, but the Thunder... yeah... they have too many.

    Maybe this is a pre-emptive deal to a Harden trade back home to OKC??... That's the only thing I can imagine happening that would make a tiny bit of sense. Re-routing KPJ's salary and a boatload of 2nds, late 1sts for Harden. Other than that I don't get it at all.

    For the Rockets, I wonder if this means we'll have to waive someone unexpected now with another roster spot coming back.

    They would have been paying Oladipo and JRE around 11.5 million, so they’re paying an extra ~5 million for two seconds.

    Edit: They still have to cut or move one ........Jack White, Pokusevski, Isaiah Joe or Tre Mann.

    Tre Mann played the best in Pre-season out of those. Probably White or a guard.
