I was responding to a statement that mentioned no one has ever had to plan around Sengun, I pointed out how AE mentioned exactly how they had to plan around Sengun. I do have opinions on Sengun, I like him but not sure what the ceiling is, but won't go down that rabbit hole. I have been around CF much earlier than the JLin days, and there are topics I would rather avoid because people are a bit too passionate about certain things. It is like bringing up politics with family.

    Udoka said it today.

I feel like in three years, our two franchise players will be Sengun and Amen, then Bari and Tari.

Not sure Jalen will still be here, but if so, he will be below Amen and Sengun in the hierarchy.

I really think pre-draft it was super hard to have a strong opinion on Amen because of the lack of games accessible and the competition (I had him 3rd). Watching how he is still above and beyond his peers athletically, awareness, how he sees the game, and work ethic... I couldn't be happier we got him. Truly a top 5 potential player who will represent the city and team very well

Oddly, I think the Rockets want a rim protector whether or not Sengun becomes a great player. Green, if he becomes great, he'll be a Rocket. I think Bari, Tari, and Amen fit together well.

…that’s why I want Robert Williams on this team - not sure why there are Brogdon rumors when Williams fits a long time need.

Because half the league wants Williams on only 11 million a year.....lmao ....go figure.

The news revolve around those that are seen expendable first.

Thompson's progress on both ends is ahead of schedule. Pleasantly surprised with the new shot form as well. Highest ceiling on the team.

Amen is gonna be the Rockets' superstar. Great call by Stone to take a chance on him in the draft.

Amen is a baller, his weakness is his finishing package. Most of his layups are too acrobatic

Whether or not it's a weakness, I'm not sure, since most of his finishing plays outside of dunks in high school and OTE were awkward layups. He always seemed to combine a Eurostep followed an off-balance/twisting layup with some kind of english on it. It's basically how he scored a ton of his buckets. Whether or not he'll be able to do it in the pros, I don't know, but the paint is definitely more crowded in the NBA with defenders willing to jump with you. I don't know if he'll adjust or do something else. It's still early.

FYI : just watch how many of his scoring plays in this video is basically an awkward layup :
