s stone said he cannot be with team. and that's it. there is no this year or forever. I could care less about kpj career as a rockets diehard fan. however I respect the fact
He said ....KPJ is no longer part of the team.....that has no time limit ....could also mean forever as well. No longer part of the team .... means he is not a Rocket.....only in name. You can ask anyone on this board what it means. Please.
True, and when asked if that meant he will NEVER be with the Rockets again, Stone refused to answer, which is concerning. You are correct though, no one has seen any evidence, you just have a bunch of people here invested in the Rox, that have strong opinions about him - lots of people never liked him in the first place, you can see that in the thread, and didn't like being called haters - but sure were quick to call others Stans.... LOL DD
I'm ok with haters that's cool. people are old enough to choose whether they like him or other players on the team. I'm just angry when people hate this player and then the other one. when kpj incident happened. all these people turn their hatred towards jalen and sengun. it's exactly the same on Chinese fan forums. and it's just hard to be a rockets fan these days.
Gosh, haven't seen any real hate on either of those players nothing close to what folks said or thought about KPJ. I have seen criticism of Sengun slowness of foot or Green's lack of defense but that isn't hate. DD
it only prove that we Chinese basketball fan haters are much more intense. I use to like clutchfans better cause fans here are more rational fans with more details and facts regarding the team. I could be wrong and the hate toward you DD is something beyond me for understanding. I always like your passion when I first see your video 10years ago. big fan keep it up
KPJ is currently guaranteed for $1M for 2024 - 2025. Key upcoming dates: 10/25/23 (Opening Night): 2024 - 2025 Guarantee Increases to $3M. 2/13/24 (5 days after the trade deadline): 2024 - 2025 Guarantee increases to $6M. 6/30/24 (Last day of league year): 2024 - 2025 AND 2025 - 2026 Fully Guaranteed. For suspensions between 1 - 19 games, KPJ will lose $109,379 per game (1/145 of his 2023 - 2024 salary, max of $2.078M). The Rockets do not get this money back, it should instead be directed to charitable organizations. If the suspension is 20 games or more, KPJ loses $144,182 per game (1/110 of his 2023 - 2024 salary, $2.88M+). The Rockets would receive a credit of 50% of the missed salary with regards to the luxury tax threshold this year, but could not use that money to sign a free agent or take on more salary in a trade; it's basically worthless. I personally would just waive him before opening night and be done with it, considering that the Rockets already have Jock Landale and Jeff Green as tradeable expiring contracts to use at the deadline if they need them. On the other hand, risking only $2M in 2025 salary to hold onto a $15.8M expiring seems like a reasonable rate (they probably overpaid Landale and Green by $4-5M each to get them to sign effectively 1-year deals). If they end up not finding a trade, waiving him immediately after the deadline represents a pretty minimal cost, basically only losing the roster spot, considering he's likely going to be on administrative leave for the remainder of his time with the organization. Having Adam Silver void the contract was never realistic in my opinion.
Thanks man, I get on some folks nerve, but I don't hold a grudge, unless they argue about me instead of the ball.....I can respect other opinions - and am stubborn, but whatever, everyone here is still a Rox fan - and I would have a beverage with any of them. Some people just hold grudges and get personal - just have to block them. DD
It all cooled down the last week with preseason games and everything else going on....... This friend was just new to this thread, probably inopportune time to fill him in on everything that happened. I wish Porter good luck overseas actually, the minute he is out, I do not care that much.
He might be overseas, he might be over here....if we cut him someone will pick him up after waivers expires and probably take a look - all depending upon what happens with the DV case of course.....but I could see a team like Miami picking him up.....maybe Milwaukee somewhere with a good hierarchy and strong structure of accountability. Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr.’s girlfriend denies he strangled, punched her in NYC hotel Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr.’s ex-girlfriend has vehemently denied allegations the NBA player relentlessly beat and choked her during a fight in their Big Apple hotel room – telling The Post on Tuesday: “It’s not true.” Former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick, 26, set the record straight a day after Manhattan prosecutors dropped one of the charges against Porter – admitting the pro baller didn’t break his then-girlfriend’s neck in the Sept. 11 Midtown hotel beatdown. “My injuries don’t support any of those claims,” Gondrezick said in an exclusive interview, adding that the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and cops were to blame for the inaccuracies. “He didn’t hit me. He never balled his fists up and hit me,” Gondrezick insisted. “And he definitely didn’t punch me in the face numerous times. That is a lie. I don’t have any injuries to support that.” Gondrezick – who also shot down claims Porter had a history of abusing her – confirmed she is no longer dating the hoopster, noting she hasn’t been in contact with him since his arrest because a protective order was only lifted Monday. …Gondrezick, however, claimed that the DA’s office didn’t wait to interview her, or get access to her full medical records, before releasing details of the alleged attack and of her injuries. “It happened very fast, not to the degree of what was reported,” she told The Post on Tuesday. “And it was an argument that occurred in the room for not even 10 seconds” Prosecutors were informed of her wounds only after a cop overheard doctors discussing possible causes of her injuries as she was being treated at the hospital, Gondrezick said. “We have given them numerous opportunities to come clean and to fix false information but they have yet to do so,” Gondrezick said of the DA’s office. “My privacy, or my relationship, shouldn’t be publicized to catapult careers.” Her lawyer, Robert Hantman, added they had both liaised with the DA’s office in recent weeks to “clarify the record.” “It shouldn’t be dramatized just because he’s a basketball player, she is a basketball player and they are a celebrity-type couple,” Hantman told The Post. Asked if she had plans to try and reconcile with Porter, Gondrezick said: “I am not in a position to make that decision right now. I’m just trying to defend my truth and ultimately get my life back and protect my safety.” “This experience only happened to me. It didn’t happen to anyone else,” she added. The DA’s office didn’t address Gondrezick’s claims when contacted by The Post, instead pointing to the outcomes of the court proceedings a day earlier. Porter, who has been free on $75,000 bail, still faces charges of second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault. He is due back in court on Nov. 27.
Tripped and bruised her face on a fat stack of cash shoved under the table by KPJ's lawyer. Sounds about right.
Oh then she said it only happened for 10 seconds......back tracking and then .... Duh, of course, you had one month to heal and then make your statement....obviously. Why were you in the hospital in the first place? I told y'all the DA will process whether with her or without her.
