Another great performance for JV. Now let's clean up this inning and plate some runs!

Yep. Might as well just treat it like a pitcher batting. It won't hurt this offense...:(

To be fair, this entire offense has been awful tonight. That bases loaded moment does hurt though.

If JV isn’t pitching you might as well bring in Diaz.

It would be criminal to let Maldy hit this inning

If I was the manager I would simply call the HR play repeatedly

Offense can't go dead like this.

May be that 7th innings and later offense wakes up

He was fine. Like 779 ops then 459 then 866 or something like that. career 720 ops or something like that? Not great but not terrible for his career in the postseason.

    Neris has swag and confidence.

He did an extra shake before the final pitch and nodded at 2nd base.

Over 162 games he’d have about 30 Hr and about 100 rbi.

Have the Astros hit one pitch over 100? I miss TK and Blum.

    I didn't expect a pitcher's duel.

Baseball is an odd game. There is that one very rare rule in baseball that allows for a lead off grand slam. Dusty being the old cagey manager is calling that. ;)
