I hope it's a sincere concession from bibi rather than posturing. I'm questioning the motivation because there still isn't power in Gaza to run the water treatment facilities. Maybe they can make makeshift pumps if there is now actual water pressure.

But I have a feeling this gesture is useless without electricity

I doubt it's all by himself but I'm glad these are the steps our executive branch is taking.

 

I mean are the people they are allowing through those who are foreign to Egypt (thus including Palestinians) or those who are foreign to Gaza (thus excluding Palestinians)?

 

Are those Hamas senior blokes safe in Qatar or can Mossad get at them?

 

Man watching the video of the Hamas' leader telling Gazans to hold strong sitting in some lavish room in Qatar almost gave me a brain aneurysm.

This weirdo Ismail Haniyeh has 13 kids (12 sons) with his first cousin, who is wife #1, and with whom he grew up in the same house as children. Interestingly, three of his sisters are Israeli citizens and have lived in the Negev in Southern Israel for years. I did read one of his nephews served in the IDF, but there is not much info on that.

 

A friend told me that civilizations will always have peaks and valleys. I always thought we were getting beyond that point due to technology, education, and stable global growth.

I always put the ideals of the West as something to strive towards. However, just like religion I think governments just use it as a tool for control on the poor and less fortunate.

It is in very difficult times when you realize that really it's just a fascade and the powers to be throw out values out the door when convenient and only expect the subjects to uphold them. I have always judged character of friends and colleagues when they were going through something difficult. Some step on others and justify it in their heads that it's for the best. This is no different. Israel's currently on the journey to genocide, history will not view this well.

Also love this narrative of Gazan people being inherently criminal or inferior to the general global populace. I think some here have been using that narrative, geez you folks should just call yourselves Nazis. It's funny the left has gone all crazy, but I think the right wants to one up them

 

it could be international pressure. govt's are making statements in support of israel but they are also qualifying it with israel must defend itself in accordance to international law. even biden has said this.

i have only managed to see interviews from uk politicians where they have been directly asked if israel is acting within int'l law. they have repeated as above but mostly refused to answer the question no matter how persistent the journalists were. they either don't know or are fence sitting.

gaza has a pop of over 2 million of which half are children. when over 700 children have been killed in a week. only the abnormal can't see this is all wrong.

 

You mean the entire Arab world, right?

That is how they view them, and why they won't allow them to migrate to their own country, meanwhile the USA has, Europe has, but not the Arab world, why is that?

Maybe if they didn't say they want to wipe out Israel they would have their own country now - they basically have that in Gaza already, but the government they elected is dead set on killing the Jew
