Lol. The Rockets are already headed in the right direction as a organization. We don't need JVG

Was the Udoka hiring stupid? Or drafting Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, Cam Whitmore or Amen Thompson? All this in 3 years.

It is silly to assume that in an organization with hundred working staff......one guy is doing every move.

Did my statement say "everything he does is stupid" no, it said "he will do SOMETHING stupid". You really need to learn reading comprehension. You'll be a happier person online.

KPJ is such a franchise guy he got a unguaranteed contract.

Man you haters should just shut it. Wait until the team actually flames out before you start spouting crap.

Because you refuse to give a good GM credit because he's not your "preference". The jury isn’t out, we have the building blocks in place to be special after 3 years.

That’s a question with no answers, unless he “commentates” again somewhere. Disney (which owns ESPN) decided to cut costs. Quality costs money. Jeff wasn’t the only broadcaster let go.

The fans were ignored. So Van Gundy was left wanting something to do, something to do with professional basketball. The Celtics took advantage of it. We didn’t. Not that I know of, anyway. We should have, in my opinion. He might have said no, to our broadcast booth, even if just for home games (which has happened here before), with an added gig as a consulting job (which I would have offered, but I’m just a fan), but you don’t know unless you ask. We likely didn’t ask, @Easy.

Again you're taking away credit. Do you know how long it took teams like Sacramento, Knicks or Nets time 2 rebuild? Meaning a great core of young players, cap space and highly coveted coach that WANTED to come there. Saying he hasn't done anything is dismissing the business savvy moves he did to get the highest cap space or acquire young talent

i dont understand why u give so much credence to cratering out... lol.... we let millions sit on the bench (Wall) wasting away to get that cap space - anybody could do it - trade for a high dollar contract and let it expire = capspace... like its an accomplishment... lol
And again... ok, blatantly lose and get yourself some top prospects... not like it takes effort - just losses...
OK, we didnt sign some vets to make us somewhat respectable for the last few years... instead we wasted cap, let rookies and 2nd tier players (kpj, wood) do whatever they wanted, had a pu**y a** coach that commanded no respect.... and were one of the worst teams in the league for a few years... got our picks for sucking and took bpa....
AGAIN, how is this an accomplishment?

"great core of young players" - maybe... there's potential.... but really, at this point, we dont know if we have future stars or scrubs that will be working at Wendy's in a couple years...

and one could argue that we then took that cap space opportunity to overspend on FVV and Dillon Brooks.... idk... maybe they were good buys - maybe we'll regret the contracts in coming years... who knows...

i guess that's my point more than anything... for the last 3 years of pain and anguish - maybe we got something... maybe we got a buncha crap... who knows...

    and until we know...

aint nothing been done that deserves any praise imo...

maybe it all gels... we win a championship and Stone is exec of the year...

maybe we will continue to be a bottom dweller as none of our prospects reach their potential...

    who knows...

    again...

aint nothing been done that deserves any praise imo...

...and really... arent u just praising Tilman for LETTING Stone tank - as opposed to Les never letting us do so... ;)

Taking the John Wall contract was part of the reason we had the biggest cap space, you're making my point lol. When you're tanking you're supposed to take on bad contracts dummy, for the sole purpose of it eventually coming off the books. Silas was instructed to lose & it PAID OFF given we have one of the best young cores in the nba.

Christian Wood, Oladipo etc..All that was part of tanking for this offseason. As a future roster, we may have the brightest in the NBA. If doing this in 3 years is easy then why tf hasn't all the bottom dwellers done it?

When did anybody announce KPG was the franchise guy? I missed that one.

He was signed to a 4yr contract with a team option for years 2,3, and 4. lol. He was also relegated to the bench with the signing of FVV.

At best, he used minutes that could have gone to TyTy.

I'm not sure who is the blind one here. Seems like blind hatred.

and wasnt none of it rocket science... lol... which is why i question why the hell u think Stone deserves props... he followed the basic everybody knows plan to tank and maintain flexibility (the process) - and didnt fk it up - kudos... i guess... lol.
Personally, i think he's done too much sitting on his hands waiting for 'the process' to come to fruition rather than taking a few more shots - but whatever...

"one of the best young cores in the nba" - based on what? i see a group of youngsters with varying degrees of possibilities and potential - but i dont think we can even call this rebuild a success - yet.... hopefully it works out... hope in one hand... lol

he followed 'the process' and allowed contracts to expire to open up cap space - he's executive of the year regardless of what actually happens on the court! ;) lol
