    Why indeed? Why did he trade for KPJ when and keep him when he was a clear nutcase? Are you reading what youre typing? Keeping Oladipo IS NOT TANKING. He literally tried to build around John Wall and Oladipo. Oladipo said no thats when they started tanking. Again Stone isnt this genius GM, he has made good decisions yes but a lot of his decisions have been complete ass and to try to go back and rewrite history and say his mistakes were keeping his options open is silly.

    It speaks volumes to Silas' utter ineptness as a head coach - that we've seen more hustle and effort in two pre-season games - than his entire tenure here.

    I said Stone was keeping his options open.

    That's why he can tank because he kept his options open, he wasn't fixed on any particular path he remained flexible till it was clear what needed to happen. He tried to be competitive with Wall ans Harden and Cousins and when that didn't work he tried again with Dipo but this time hedged with picks just in case. The just in case happened that's why he decided to tank.

    If it was Morey he would have traded future picks to get vets to keep Harden happy and when Harden walked out anyway Rox would be screwed.

    Stone isn't a genius that's why he keeps hedging, like when he got Jalen Green over Mobley he also got Sengun and Garuba. However his style minimizes Rox mistakes and that's what makes him a good GM.

    So he wasnt tanking and I proved my point thats literally the entire point of our conversation so thanks for finally admitting that he wasnt tanking that first year. Good convo

    Don’t you dare question the Australian slanger. Tate yeah. He’s bound to be a journeyman. He’ll have a long career as a 7-10th man off the bench. I love his ethic but his feel for the game limits him.

    Landale's injury really slowed him otherwise I wouldnt be saying that, its the only reason I have questions on him.

    He put himself in the position where he can tank if he needed to.

    They got the 2nd pick so so sorry but they were definitely tanking the first year.

    I’m sure it’s an error but I looked at the stat sheet of tonight’s game and it showed Mayer with 43 minutes and 2-3 shooting?

    There's no way he got 43 min tonight right? I watched bits and pieces of the game and never saw him

    Crazy how just a month ago people here were crying and saying the entire organization sucks and all the players like Evan Mobley hate the Rockets.

    I think a bunch of GMs picked a few times - so maybe only like 15ish??

    One of those teams with multiple picks might be kicking themselves....
