    First 3 by the Braves were with 2 divisions and no WC/LDS. Then they were trailing the Expos pretty badly when the season got cancelled in '94. Then they went to 5 straight in the WC era.

    Astros are the first team in MLB history to win a postseason series in 7 straight seasons.

    Exactly, the shortened season almost eliminated us from the post season. Over 162 we would have over .500.

    I still think the play of the game was Pena's diving catch and tag for a DP! That doesn't happen then who knows the score

    Remember Yordan and JV were lost for the year so who knows And this happened right after the scandal when the Astros seemed to be sulking throughout the regular season. It was the playoffs that brought them alive again.
