Orioles have a bright future, but they're just weren't yet ready for the playoff stage. Lights were too bright for that young team. They could use a vet or two with good postseason experience and leadership capability. Looking forward to the Rangers' whiny asses getting kicked by the Astros in the ALCS, should the Astros finish off the Twins (they will).
Will give them credit for being able to bounce back after what should have been demoralizing lows… They bounced back after the Astros demolished them in that series at the beginning of September… won 4 against Toronto in toronto. They bounced back after the end of the season debacle and have now won 5 straight. Certainly they’re due for a down-swing… but whatever they have is serving them well.
At least the 2015 Astros took the Royal to 5 games. The O’s need big game pitching (sorta like when the Astros got JV)… and there was little sense of urgency in games 2 and 3 when it was clear their starters didn’t have it. Their manager was managing the Astros regular season series with more sense of urgency than this series.
