In a couple of weeks, you'll probably need to add Gearld Wallace to your list. He's got some hops.

With his Vert, Height, and Wingspan Clark should be the best dunker in the whole league.

He is at least two inches taller than everyone on the list but KG and Swift.

his wingspan is over 94 inches.

no way antonio is on there, unless you talking about with a running start.

antonio, on a standing vert, may be at 35, but not 40.

plus, he needs to develop a new dunk. i'm tired of that damn "statue of liberty" 1 hand dunk.

i'd GUARANTEE that derek anderson has a higher vert than antonio.

I just found out that Stromile Swift has a 39 inch vertical, so that kicks off Desmond Mason on the list.

    Houston Chronicle:
He sat with his teammate and buddy Cuttino Mobley in Philly and they talked about how they had whipped the Sixers and Pacers by about 30 each this season.

"Smacked the ... out of them," he said. "We have the talent."

Even though it sounds really unbelievable, I read when Antonio McDyess came into the league that he had a 47" vertical... I remember the folks in Denver were going crazy over his first few practices, and that on one occasion, he went up to block, and ended up leaving a hand-print way up on the top of the backboard....

No one could be believe he actually got up that high so they just left it...

Anyway, not that it matters, but it's interesting... I'm sure he's lost a lot of his hops since...

What about Maurice Taylor? Taylor flew over 7-footers Tim Duncan and Theo Ratliff for slam dunks this past year.

Well, I've been checking out some high school and college guys, and I've found some interesting leapers. Jamaal Pugh and James White have some serious hops. They both can dunk from the line with two hands. Unfortunately, that's all they got so far.
