https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/38549013/nbarank-2023-best-players-2023-24-100-51 Players 100-51 was released today, with 2 Rockets making the cut. 80. Jalen Green (Was 62 in 2022) 56. Fred Van Vleet (Was 38 in 2022) And that's it so far.... surprised no Sengun, and I don't see him cracking the top 50...
https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/st...k-2023-24-10-players-vault-next-year-rankings Dillon and Jabari are on the Honorable List!
Yeah, I mean how do you rank guys who haven’t played a minute of NBA basketball? FWIW, I think Simons will be way, way better than Henderson for POR, and he’s ranked lower. Also: I’m thinking now that Giddey is a mirage. Looks impressive on first glance, but when you look deeper he’s slow and he’s a bad shooter and is not really helping the scoreboard… He’s not a top100, IMO
I'm not even going to read the list because ESPN is the ultimate frontrunner sports outlet and this team is FAR from a frontrunner.
As is the yearly tradition, the most egregious ranking is Westbrook. Not a top 100 player and hasn’t been for years.
Rankings are the worst thing to ever happen to sports. Manufactured content and outrage designed to drain fans of their $$$
I know but all I am saying to get from the starting page only 1 click to get to the Ranking.....there are worse homepages like the fake stories that goes on and on or the celebrity couples......where you click through..
Yea there are definitely more egregious versions including shows like First Take which manufacture topics/lists to manufacture outrage and heated discussion. It's basically soap opera for sports fans.
Then they would say ....it was right to rank him that low just to give him a power rise the next year. It is all narrative. All they care about is the product, they would not care about the human or the player.
