Lot of Jews in the c suite of the nba
Also zero money coming from Palestinians

I’m sure if it were the other way around they’d have been been supporting the Palestinian cause while tens of thousands of Palestinians were being killed over the last 20 yrs.

    Not surprising at all

I don't think it's political to announce support for people that were victims from a terrorist attack.

Props for that. We should all stand with them. It should be something that people can get united behind.

It would be unrealistic to expect otherwise from any NBA teams. Hamas committed a brazen act of terrorism and killed hundreds of innocent people. The Heat's owner is an Israeli-American, so I am sure he is especially sensitive to this.

If I were NBA pr and ditb want to chose a side I'd just say "we as a community prst for the ordinary citizens of Israel and Gaza".

There will be statistically more Paelstuaj s that die from this. We already know this everyone knows this will be true in a few weeks. But hopefully people provide equal value of human life and also express solidarity with Gaza residents also like they do with Israel here.

I just find it filthy how these nega corporations are standing with another industrialized nation suppressing an entire group of people.

Don't stand with Israel. Stand with the common folks who live in Israel and Palestine.

To me it's very clear as Westerners we place disproportionate human value towards Israelis compared to Palestinians.

Israel is more comparable to Russia here right? Superpower in terms of military strength vs a much smaller nation?

@Exiled, please don't like my posts. You celebrated the deaths of Israeli civilians yesterday. I don't want people like that agreeing with me.

I sympathize with the horrors the Palestinians people experience. I empathize with how a Gaza city kid ends up in Hamas. I don't sympathize with the actions of Hamas directly killing civilians.

Kind of but in the grand alliance Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Israel are on the same side the US where as Russia, Armenia, and Iran are on the same side as China.

In terms of alignment yes. I'm more referring to the power dynamic. The difference is the Ukraine has monetary support from Western nations unlike Palestinians to defend from IDF actions.

Victim of the invasion, I think is the comparison they are making. Most people aren't commietards that view everything in terms of power dynamics between the bourgeoise and the proletariat.

Well the power and economic imbalance is literally the main fuel that drives this division. The religion is the masking... the justification.

And insurgent groups and terror groups don't "invade". They do a terror attack and run back. There is no holding of ground. So no it isn't an invasion. It's a terror attack.

I didn't mention religion at all. I mentioned who crossed whose border. The Russians crossed into Ukraine. Hamas crossed into Israel. That is the basis of equating Ukraine with Israel.
    Invading Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster
Doing a terror attack and running back is invading. Conquering is when you invade and then hold the captured territory.
