Ole Stevie Franchise made an appearance at the Summer Pro league tonight. My crappy little wal-mart special of a camera caught a couple things for you guys to see. http://us.f3.yahoofs.com/msgr/dontbedoindope/.tmp/PICT0072.AVI?msH2gIBB58L_LaBF http://us.f3.yahoofs.com/msgr/dontbedoindope/.tmp/PICT0030.JPG?msNwgIBBvLzLwP9F Sorry I couldn't get better images, but hey it's something. I think that was Damon Jones arguing a call, and Franchise is a little blurry right next to him. Moochie Norris was there too. Although Francis did that cool fadeaway and a dunk, for the most part he didn't do much else. He fouled a lot or didn't play D at all. It was neat to see them play though.
Sorry, Here is the video again (I put it up somewhere else): http://webpages.acs.ttu.edu/tebowman/PICT0072.AVI It's not the greatest quality, but it sure is a nice shot.
The first game was a really good one. Moochie also showed why he was traded. He was out of control. Number 7 on the Fonde All stars has some crazy hops.
ive been to 3 games i saw the one when cat played and they lost cause james posey didnt show up .cat looed like a poor mans kobe last night untill that last turnover.cat has game!
Hey, was Francis wearing #23 there? I wonder will he end up wearing that with Orlando since Calvin Murphy's jersey isn't retired over there and that's the number he wore at Maryland. I know he had the #3 at that press conference, but that might've just been the Magic assuming that was the number he would wear. Thanks for the links though!
SF was wearing number 13, don't know why. Some other dude was wearing 3 on his team, maybe it was respect for him? It was a really good game though. I have a new respect for Rashard Lewis. That dude was the only guy on the other team doing anything. He couldn't miss for a while there. He hit 3's, mid-range jumpers, offensive rebounds, put backs. He was on fire. I'm gonna keep my eye on him next season.
Was there last night as well. I was really impressed with Royal Ivey's game. He looks to be a poor man's Cuttino at this point. With a little more bulk and work on his outside shot he might make it in the league. I must say that he did have a sweet block on a James Posey dunk attempt but was called a foul. It was also nice to see some other Houston area players in attendance such as T.J. Ford and Mario Elie.
I've always wondered how many people from this site show up at the Fonde. It seems like a good number though. We should find a way to meet up there or something.
Hey I got an idea... How about we all wear a rockets shirt on Wednesday! That'll really distinguish us! hahahahah I'll be there.. anyone else going?
Where is this at? Anyone have a map/directions from Mo. City/Sugar Land area? It's free right? and what time does it start? Thanks.
The addresss is here: http://www.procityhouston.com/index.htm If you need a map.. go to yahoo.. click on maps.. and then do driving directions... easy as that. It's on Sabine St. between Allen Pkwy and Memorial right next to downtown (off of 45). It's totally free.
