That’s the key of game in opinion.. Jump off to an early lead and force them into the pass game with us chewing up clock on the offensive side of the ball….

With how we are against the run, it will not be an easy task….

I’m scared to think we are above any team each week. I just have too much PTSD. I’m worried we could get brought back down to earth, but I am also just so excited looking at how we’ve done and what we are capable of.

Please Texans, just please keep showing me that this is real. Get me back to confidence again.

Practice indoors today. Laremy Tunsil and Tytus Howard here again.

Josh Jones wearing a club cast on his right hand.

Texans safety Jimmie Ward back at practice after a rest day

Texans LB Jake Hansen not practicing today. Was not on yesterday’s injury report.

Texans RB Dameon Pierce is at practice. But he popped up as limited with a knee in yesterday’s injury report.

Texans defensive tackle Maliek Collins is not practicing for the second straight day with an abdomen injury

Texans WR John Metchie III is not here at practice. He was not on the team’s injury report yesterday. He’s had rest days this season.

Tavierre Thomas practicing with a club cast on his left hand.

Bobby Slowik is also not saying much specifically about playing Tytus Howard inside. Repeats "field the best five" mantra.

Texans OC Bobby Slowik says one of the toughest things to do with the offensive line has been fielding continuity. Observation from this: George Fant's started at RT in four games. That's been consistent. They're used to cross-training their offensive linemen for flexibility.

Texans OC Bobby Slowik says CJ Stroud “As a rookie he’s really good,” at moving safeties with his eyes. “He knows when and why, which is really rare for a rookie.”

Someone with OL knowledge, please assist if I'm wrong. Could he be open to this temporarily because of the hand injury? I know the Tackle and Guards use their hands a little differently with some inside hand holding generally acceptable. Would a weakened grip work better inside?

Is this gamesmanship trying to goad the Falcons into passing?

They could try a 5-2 front, line up Anderson inside with Horton as the other end. Use the 2 best cover LBs should Ridder throw. It's in Demeco's bag of tricks
Mix it up. I need to get new prescription glasses. Some of the plays I thought Greenard was making last week was actually Horton. All the rooks flashing.

However it started, it ended up with 8 men in the box.

Here's hoping all those interception-worthy throws coming out of the hands of Ridder are going to attract our defenders like sharks to blood in the water. This is going to be fun to watch.

I don’t remember this happening in game. Maybe it happened in practice? Or I just missed it

When I watched the game on Tues night I remember a hit that Harris made that looked like he could have gotten the concussion there. He didn't act like it, but his helmet was jarred. Can't remember who he tackled, but remember thinking I'm surprised that hit didn't stun him at least.

It would be odd for him to practice twice afterwards, but that was only hit I can remember in the game that could have caused it.

I remember him getting a big hit on third down, stopping the TE. Is that the same play? Jalen Pitre ran up to him and celebrated.
