Backside of the defense has to absolutely contain, BR is so good with his feet and vision that he can commit to one side with his OL and the next thing you know he's running around the other with an open field because the D all crashed in. No arm or shoulderpad tackles. Use both. And hands. And foul language, whatever it takes. Coverage LBs (Cashman and To'To mostly I think) best bring their A-Game. This goes for Pitts too.
Like when I asked a lady at a Dairy Queen in Nebraska as a kid for a Whataburger with cheese and she said a water burger? I repeated Whataburger, thinking she just didn't understand my Texas accent, then snapped.
Just don't miss tackles. They missed too many last game against Steelers that allowed Najee to make gains. Hopefully DeMeco works on that this week.
When I was a kid I'd asked my mom, aunt and uncle all the time for water burgers and they would laugh and point at me. It took me a long time to figure out why they always laughed.
The Steelers defense is much better than Atlanta’s, and as bad as Pickett has been, Ridder has been much worse. But yes there are a lot of similarities between the Steelers and the falcons. Should be another win if CJ continues his trajectory
Sorry, that was a post about Atlanta after the game in the Steelers thread. I can understand the confusion.
Easier said than done, Bijan lives on and loves breaking tackles. But if you *can* contain him, their offense is doomed.
I'm definitely heading into the territory of starting to expect wins again...which makes me very nervous that I'll start getting let down. I'll just cross my fingers and hope all the good reasons this team has given us for hope so far are not mirages.
Houston up to 11 in the NFL Football Power Rankings https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nf...big-moves-in-different-directions/vi-AA1hDhwr
You're not alone. Last year's Texans vs Titans game thread maxed out at a whopping 6 pages. https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/official-texans-titans.318104/#post-14426761 Steelers game thread ended at 34 pages. Not quite 65 from back in the 2011 days/ 2019 but improving. Improving every week, Brian.
It sort of reminds me of my first trip to Dairy Queen in Michigan. They had CHOCOLATE when Texas DQs didn't.
Pitts has had very little production so far because he hasn't fully recovered from last year's knee injury. Not really worried about him.
There is nothing normal about so many injured OL so early in a season. I think we need to draft a couple more next year, along with another top WR. A tougher front will not only protect our QB, but will open up our running game.
