    6 Astros
    2 Athletics
    2 Rangers
    1 Angels
    0 Mariners

Astros have the entire rest of the division beat.

None of those other teams have even sniffed an ALCS since that time. I'd say that's the bigger accomplishment as nobody truly remembers division winners that get bounced out of the first round.

this 1000 times. The consecutive ALCS is what sets us apart. How many times have dodgers teams failed to get out of the DS? Even the second best team during our golden era, the TB Rays, have had times where they faltered. No team since those damn Yankee teams have achieved the level of excellence the Astros have. And two titles (even if some claim 2017 is marred, and screw them because every team in the playoffs were doing the same damn thing or worse) prevent the Astros from being compared to the Maddox Gavin’s Smoltz braves who only won 1.

4 pennants in 6 seasons is pretty ridiculous considering the big spenders we have in the AL.
