Fitting, KPJ dead corpse contract on the Jail Blazers.

If it's to dump KPJ, then okay. But Brogdon is sorely unneeded on this team.

Yeah - just Brogden and picks would have been a great deal for the Cs. Williams as the salary match is awkward. The Horford/ Porzingis front court doesn't seem as intimidating defensively.

They probably need to scratch around and find a rim protector now

Seems like Brogdon (3pt shooting, D) and Williams (PnR beast, defender) both fit well here.

Brogdon is combo guard and would replace KPJ with more efficiency and veteran presence. Currently the Rockets are without a backup shooting guard. Porter Jr was easily Houston's best 3 point shooter and Malcolm could replicate that and more.

I would rather have Williams than Brogdon.

Don't think Portland is giving him up. However, Brogdon is likely available because of the depth of Blazers young guards.

They also have Grant and Ayton in the frontcourt though so Williams is only a backup for them.

In any case, I don't want Brogdon. I'd rather see those minutes at the 1 and 2 spots go to Amen and Cam Whitmore. Brogdon is what he is, we would win more games in the short term but at what cost?

Not sure if this is for real happening…

but all the clutchfan geniuses condemning even the thought of a trade. How dare the rockets move kpj for a player that can actually help them. They should just eat the salary so they can virtue signal… this boards collective IQ gets lower every season

I’ve been reading this board since 93-94. There was another Rockets site I followed. Always found this one intimidating. Joined a bit later. I post more now so, yeah lol I can personally attest to the IQ going down. All the posters from back then were ran off by YOF or JLINOF or HOF. It really has been decimated and sad to see the old school posters who I enjoyed so much leave.

Can’t wait for season to start. Maybe some promise from our youngsters will help breathe some life into our IQ. Then again…

Why are we trying to add more mid-tier guards/wings? Makes no sense. Let's just roll with Amen, Cam, Bullock, and Holiday.

I mentioned this already in another thread, but all these rumours concerning interest in adding more players is odd.

Unless of course, every one of them is false.
That would be about par I suppose.

If we can upgrade Tate I'd be okay, but I don't see the point in adding mid tier guys just for the sake of doing it. Would rather give younger guys a chance to improve.
