It is actually Yannis who is inconsistent from series to series, there are teams that give him more problems than others. His bad shooting and FT shooting is something the opponent can key on. For someone who is constantly compared to Shaq, he is by far not as dominant as Shaq was. No matter how good his stats are in the paint, he does not pass the eye test with flying colors. Out of the 3, Jokic is the most consistent and skilled .....(Giannis and Embiid)
Absolutely, giannis isn’t an elite offensive player. He’s great because of his defense. I do think dame will help him though
All this talk about Boston and Milwaukee, but Portland has an extremely solid young core, assuming Scoot pans out. And he has really low bust potential, imo. All the important players are 25 and younger, so they can all grow with each other. Scoot / ??? Simons / Murray Sharpe / Thybulle Grant / ??? Ayton / Timelord + a whole bunch of picks and assets. Solid frontcourt, as Ayton and Timelord cover for the other one's deficiencies. Scoot could turn out to be a Westbrook/Morant clone which is about as good as you can ask for - and if he develops a shot, whew boy. The only red flag is the Jerami Grant contract, but by the time Portland's core is in its prime, the contract will be up or close to being up anyway, so Portland can either sign Grant to a more team-friendly deal or trade him for pieces to contend.
Its kind of hard to improve on 30ppg regular season to try and duplicate that for entire postseason run, especially as a small scoring guard Putting up around 26ppg and 6apg is just what Giannis needs as a postseason sidekick, if Dame can avg that then you take that all day and its up to Giannis/Middleton to hold up their end
I would still have made GSW my destination, this is as good as it gets .......to play with the greatest shooter before he retires. Especially when the Bucks are basically GSW ultra lite without Giannis. The Motion Offense would help out Giannis a lot.
Going to be a very interesting team. Really the bottom half of the West, of which the Rockets occupy, is going to be very interested.
"The divorce filing, filed in Clackamas County Circuit Court, cites “irreconcilable differences” between the Lillards that “caused the irremediable breakdown of their marriage.” The filing would suggest that in December 2022, Kay’La Lillard moved into a $2.7 million West Linn home, while Damian Lillard remained in the couple’s $7.7 million West Linn mansion. According to filings, Lillard moved in September of this year to a home in Tualatin." Willamette Week "The couple also signed a “valid and enforceable Premarital Agreement on August 30, 2021.”
