If I'm Dusty Baker, I probably do something stupid.

If I'm a competent manager, I try to win out to start the playoff mentality now. Think of every game as "must win".

Rangers are screwed; they have to go through
meh rangers got to their best start in how ever long and were 40-20 at one point and the Astros got off to their worst start in how many years and it’s still this close. If only they took care of business with the a’s and royals

Astros are going to win tonight and Mariners are going to win with Castillo going. Astros are going to go into tomorrow knowing they’re in, but with a shot at the division and Dusty is going to roll out the death lineup.

What’s hilarious is if all that happens and the Mariners jump out to a lead on Sunday then Texas will be praying for an Astros win while the Mariners will be hoping for an Arizona win. I would love nothing more than to crush Seattle’s dreams while they sweep Texas, as some posters also said above. I think I hate Seattle more than I do Texas. Their fans are an atrocity.

It's pretty impressive that Seattle has gone from:
    • our AL "natural rivals" (outside of Texas) when interleague play began, and nobody gave a **** about them
    • our AL West "competitors", and nobody gave a **** about them
    • our AL West rivals, who are the biggest bunch of dickbags (fans, manager, players) in baseball, and there is some quality hatred going on

I guess this means they have division championship hats and shirts already printed for all three teams. Pretty wild

Hate that the 5 seed scenario exists. Astros and Rangers have something to play for and Toronto should be perfectly fine letting someone else have the 5 seed. Most likely outcome tomorrow is Astros and Rangers win and Toronto loses, butt-****ing the Astros into the 5th seed to face TB and then Baltimore in order to get to the ALCS.

Wouldnt be much fun to be a Mariners fan right now.
Another year where they show signs of life, only to fall short once again.

I dont feel too bad about it though, just sayin' :)

The official seattle mariners account 'liked' a tweet that basically says the mariners played like losers. Its public what tweets an account 'likes'
