I’ve had my mind on MLB ever since I woke up. Huge baseball day in America.

Today the reason the Astros got JV. Prove it tonight:)

Column headers work if spreadsheets copied and pasted here. They don't.

The Royals series last week was one of the dumbest things in Houston sports history.

Management did an atrocious job resting the rotation, so now they need doing it in-game.

Verlander should have an 80-pitch limit tonight, and Javier 60 PC tomorrow.

Early runs from the offense helps everything. Score early and often.

We have to win these games and hope Seattle sweeps Texas to get the rest we need. This is all because we were too worried about rest before we took a commanding lead in the division.

Interesting. If we win today (but lose on Sunday) and Seattle wins today. Do we want Seattle or Texas to win the division?

This is the craziest last 2 days I've seen.
-Rangers have the division and only needed to win 1 of their last 4 games to go to the post season, but could end up out of the playoffs.
-Seattle could get the division if they sweep the Rangers these 4 games and Houston wins 1.
-Houston could get the division if they sweep the DBacks and Seattle sweeps, or lose out on the playoffs if lose last 2 and Seattle wins 1 more.
-Toronto (Seemingly a playoff lock) could miss the playoffs if they lose the next 2 to the Rays and tie with Seattle, Texas and Houston with 89 wins.

Astros sweep then Seattle only needs to win 1 of the next 2 for the Astros to win the division and get the bye.

I think there’s a good chance Brantley doesn’t play tonight.

I really have a soft spot for Urquidy despite his limitations. The way he played in his rookie 2019 season during the playoffs was pretty sick. Kept up with the big boys.

Dubon may start in CF because he's Verlander's "personal centerfielder". So it wouldn't surprise me if Dusty lets Chas play in LF while Yordan DH's.

Chas is fine. He played yesterday. But Dusty seems to insist on starting Dubon when Verlander is on the mound. I have no idea if that'll carry over into the playoffs.

If dubon continues to play as well as he has to finish the season probably. Hard to be mad at it when he’s been coming up huge in big moments. High confidence goes a long way so hopefully it Carries over to Oct. He’s the one bench guy trustworthy outside of Brantley. Diaz is a given

all the other singleton/meyers etc. no thanks

    Baseball is great.

We won last night on the strength of Urquidy’s arm, Peña’s glove, and Abreu’s bat.

Based on the season’s results, I don’t think anyone would have bet on any of those, let alone all 3.

I'm ok with Dubon starting. I prefer Chas, but I agree that it's not as egregious as Singleton constantly being used as a pinch hitter.

For sure. I’m all for chas too being out in cf everyday. Loved his breakout year. Good vibes for dubby to continue playing well
