There’s no reason to lose assets and pay $35+ million for a bum ass cancer loser when they already got Westbrick for nearly 1/10th the cost. Can’t wait to see the ~{ James Harden’s Liaoning Flying Leopards }~ thread.
How many times has Harden accounted himself for his public lies? He claimed that he always wanted to be traded to Philly and that was his true sought after destination and not Brooklyn. The list goes on:
This one is tough, but I'm going to side with Harden here. If you take Harden out of the equation Morey really doesn't have anything to go off of. For a guy that meddles with the ingame decisions as much as him he doesn't have anything to show for it. Not to mention, pretty much every NBA player coming out and talking about his poor ethics/professionalism. Blackballing yourself with players and FAs is a pretty shortsighted move. Usually these youtube montages are pretty sensational, but can't argue with testimonial after testimonial. Make no mistake, Ime wouldn't be on the team otherwise
You missed that he actually innovated the league with his 3 and layup model......it isn't watchable now but he was one of the earliest to do that to an extreme. You are right that this goes beyond the responsibilities of a GM, it is more a thing of the President of BBall Operations.....
I think that’s a misconception, if you look at Dantoni’s suns they were the fitst to do it, GSW front office and presti definitely in on it at the same time… Daryl, for all the wrong reasons went balls deep and forgot that it was actually basketball. He chose to disregard pretty much everything else including coaching, culture, and the humanistic aspect in a game …filled with humans. In a way he’s credited for it the same way Edison is the lightbulb. He should get praise but ultimately it’s about the bottom line, he’s had plenty of good teams that never won a championship…let alone ever made the finals. his bad ethics are just the nail in the coffin, he’ll be out soon enough in Philly. City is turned against him hardcore now that letting harden go was a bad move because he didn’t want to pay…only to give that same money to a dude more interested in his podcast than on the court play
