I ask myself every day why Jose Abreu hits fifth every game and still I can’t come up with a plausible explanation.

 

In his last 6 AB, Abreu has left 9 on base. He's a stat for LOB all by himself.

Something about Tucker irks me. Maybe it’s his calm demeanor but not hustling to 1B on groundout and not diving for ball on defense this year made me think he doesn’t want to get hurt before getting that 300M contract. I might be in the minority here but I wouldn’t give Tucker 300M+. Enjoy him for 2 more and let him go wherever.

And Abreu, you’re a ****ing thief!!

 

I feel like altuve could have had third pretty easily.

In hindsight, I wonder if Altuve should have tried to get to third on that hit. It was probably the only way he was going to score that inning with as bad as this team is with RISP.
