You're a dumb ass. Garuba is a wing that they try to play like a C. Little is 6' 5" 220 and Garuba is 6' 8" 229. PJ Tucker floats between PF and SF too. In fact, Tucker, Garuba and Little can all play wing defense on an elite level. The idea is the intensity, anyways. Depth is a necessary asset in your playoff stretch. Gordon just isn't a 6th man anymore. He's a good player, but won't come out as fresh. Keon is good with VERY solid defense. He also has a vertical that will allow for some creativity on rotations. There's no guarantee that any players will stay other than Nurkic and Allen maybe, but Allen, Keon, and Nassir can all be easily packaged or used with other assets to get a nice true PG to back up Beal. Or they all can play position-less basketball--which seems to be their theme going into the season.
Portland’s front office took a page right out of Rafael Stone’s playbook: Tell everyone that you want to deal your aging superstar to the team they want to play for which is Miami, then ship them to Milwaukee while encouraging them to enjoy the weather instead because Miami doesn’t believe in paying fair prices. Classic Stone move.
LMAO Garuba is a wing. gtfoh. he's a fattass who can't play wing. understand the difference. Garuba a wing who has no offensive skills. Just stupid Yes Gordon is still a 6th man. Keon and Nassir are both bonafied scrubs. neither of them will be in the regular rotation for Phx
NBA is a cabal, man. No one doubts this. They decided collectively this trade was best for the NBA. Portland signed up for this when they were given Scoot in the draft.
You're showing your lack of knowledge. Garuba was looking pretty strong on the 3 and D, which is exactly what you want from players like Garuba Nassir and Tucker. If Allen Nassir and Keon don't play, they will bring in nice talent. I would trade Tate and Tari for them to improve our G depth since KPJ is outgoing. Can't fall in love with players in this business.
nah he definitely wasn't. Garuba is a scrub himself. Another classic Cf's scrub love who wasn't any good to begin with. Allen is a rotational player in the league. His role is limited to spot shooting. That's it. He isn't in the same conversation as the latter two LOL you would be on billy king's level if you think tari/tate for 2 scrubs and a limited minutes rotational player is actually a good trade. Tari's defense alone is more valuable than all 3 combined
Personally, I like Jrue more than Dame as an all around player, especially if you already have a first scoring option on the team. I guess it all depends on how much Lillard has in his tank and how he fits with Giannis.
It is a desperation move, we knew it.... but Giannis is leaving no matter what....just not right now. I still think Dame is an exciting player, an exciting 3 point shooter.
I love Tari. I am just saying that the three players will draw interest around the league, depending on what the Suns feel like they need to shape out the team before pre-season. Tari and Little are pretty comparable in value. Suns fans are pretty stoked about him.
don't think so at all. they got nurkic who will be there starting C. He too comes with huge questions. extremely injury prone and soft. 0 defense on the perimeter next to nothing as a rim protector. allen at best their 2nd or 3rd player off the bench. and 2 scrubs who won't even play Suns fans have KD/Beal/Booker. They're already stoked. This was all about just getting out from freshly signed Ayton's terrible max deal who just didn't fit with the Suns anymore and everyone got sick of him
