We need the season to start already so people can stop focusing on KPJ, who won't be with the team, and start talking about VanVleet, Jabari, Eason, Amen, Jalen, Cam, Sengun, Brooks, Landale, SOMEBODY other than the bonehead.

Seriously. I see like 4 threads in the front page dominated by KPJ poo flinging.

How about more discussion about the young guns who've done everything right at least off the court so far and deserve the spot light.

I just want to forget KPJ was a part of the team. Let's move on.

Lol this is a poo flinging thread and a thread revolving around what happened during that incident on September 11th.

You can gladly join other threads that are talking about anything else.

Anyone else think it's odd how long NBA's investigation is taking here? We're getting pretty close to training camp and I'd like this dude not to be on the roster as soon as possible and for this not to be a distraction. It feels pretty cut and dry that KPJ has no business playing in the NBA anymore and should not be part of any franchise.

Adam Silver already basically said “we can drag our feet a little” (“we’re not in season so we don’t have to make a decision right now”) and he’s not due in court until the 16th so buckle in!

We’re not in season. … We have a bit of time to decide whether it would be appropriate for him to go to training camp or not.

Is this really a business-as-usual type of moment? If so, there is something deeply wrong with the team culture and front office. It sends a message that players can treat women however they would like. It's a disrespect to every female employee in the organization under the guise that we "aren't in season" and don't have to make decisions.

I keep telling myself “just a few more days til media day”...

Hopefully by the KPJ will no longer be the focus of any conversation and we can get him off the team.

The Rockets organization has been silent for all this time, too...it kind of pisses me off but I’m not sure why

The strangulation and beating charges, the Media Day, Court date, Silver punishment all coincide within One month......I am enraged as well.

The Rockets want to keep it quiet and on the down low ...... because there were very possibly other incidents within the organization that were kept quiet during this whole ordeal.

This will probably continue for another month and the Dame Lillard news actually dominate the scene, but also other teams are stalling on the Trading front.

my feelings exactly. Wtf Silver? I hope he gets roasted. I do wonder if he’s trying to screw over Ferrttita and S. He can’t be happy with the rockets front office given what’s come out about our org discouraging cooperation with the nba on past investigations.

Lol some members suggested Silver would use this situation to look into the Rockets organization as well, you would never know....

Harboring a potential criminal is not something worth being proud of.

Not sure something transpired of the things Stone and the Org kept secrets of.

In this country you are innocent until PROVEN guilty.

Now we all know that he is more than likely guilty, but the league and the Rockets need to make sure they do the right thing legally, based upon their negotiated CBA and the rule of the law.

I know we all want this resolved ASAP, as do I, but I think we are just going to have to wait until they are satisfied....in the end it will be a blip in time anyway.

Feels like the NBA is just drawing this out to curry favor with the player's union. Usually when you say "make an example of someone" it's a bad a connotation but in this case maybe the NBA is trying to show that even in a no brainer slam dunk case like this, they're gonna go through the process and give the players benefit of the doubt. In the end, even if the outcome is the same, they can say that the player's union pushed for the process and it makes them look good.

This proven guilty concept is only waiting for a trial basically and necessarily. Biding time.

Or waiting till there is a deal being cut. ----- Settlements etc.

Well I think the NBA is investigating itself, and that will depend upon the people involved participating in that investigation.

I think that once they feel they have enough evidence, and way before the trial they will rule on their ethics clause but they will want the union to be involved and agree with the punishment so that there is no lawsuit from that side.

    It just takes time.

O's is trying to make a point about Trump however, he has been found guilty of many things that he ignores.

    1. He was found to have committed Fraud with his fake university and had to pay more than $20m
    2. He was found guilty of money laundering twice through his casinos
    3. He was found guilty of having committed fraud with his children's charity
    4. He was just found guilty of fraud with his real estate assets
    5. He has lost numerous lawsuits for failing to pay contractors

He does have 91 indictments against him, that are pending - and he will be considered innocent until proven guilty - but his history suggests he is guilty, just like KPJ's does.

Don't try to swim in the deep end O's you will only drown.
