Dusty's stupid lineups constantly changing, with no rhyme or reason is horrible. That being said, you are right. Our pitchers are inconsistent, and so are our big money players. They just blow it too often at the plate with guys on base, and can't even muster up enough hits to beat the worst teams in the league. It's been so frustrating watching them this past month. They don't want to win bad enough for the home crowd so maybe they should get an empty stadium for a night.

 

What kinda college is CalTex? Honest question. Can you get a Pepsi there?

I would like to bet you that the astros make the post season with Dusty as manager. I’m willing to bet a lot but let’s just say $100…that’s enough to matter and affordable for anyone.

It’s unreal how Astros starting pitching consistently gives up a crooked number in the first inning seemingly every game, especially at home. But thank God Maldy is back there to keep the runs down, throw out base runners and keep the ball in front of him. Oh wait…

I'm actually past the point of being scared or worried that they won't make the playoffs. I'm just mad. And it they don't make it, I think it will be well-deserved and I might actually be a little relieved. Crane and management need a wakeup call, and missing out on the postseason would be a very good one.
