    His verbal issues stem from brain damage sustained by a stroke. I would prefer a senator without brain damage. In a republic people can elect whichever brain damaged democrat they want, so whatever. I think your argument would be valid if Abbott were in a running, walking or standing contest.

    Thinking and communication used to be key skills needed for politicians.

    Do you know his thinking has been impaired? I don’t think verbal communication skills should be a requirement for public office, a deaf person would do fine. We have quite a few politicians who would benefit from not being able to talk.

    @ROXRAN

    Dream is an example of legal immigration and proud American success stories.

    A person who is against drug dealing and drug use for kids

    A person who dresses like he means business

    Stoke can induce emotional problems (like his depression) thinking, memory and communication difficulty. So I think it's highly likely. I hate Dr Oz, fair play to him. I feel your comparison to Abbott to be ridiculous.

    At its core MAGA has always been about decorum.

    I met Dream - one on one no one else around. It was at the airport when I was working back in the 90s and he was asking for directions on where KLM was at which was right behind me. All I could do instead was ask for an autograph. Even though he was distracted with trying to find out where his flight was going to be, he did not hesitate he did not pull a face.- looking back on it I have more admiration for the way he is and the way he carries himself and unfortunately you don't see that too often

    Outside of speech, you have no idea if he’s struggling with the other issues. Also, what does depression have to do with the position? Nearly 10% of our country suffers from depression.

    Fatterman is in Philly where drugs are rampant
    And we know Californians love Fentanyl

    Dream tells kids to be good and not do drugs

    He did chase that innocent black down with a shotgun in 2013. So you are probably right.

    19th century Congress was an erstwhile era of fisticuffs and social imbibery.

    A vagrant from the mean burbs of philly won't dispel that rockin image of mine anytime soon.

    Never heard of switchel? I'd recommend the whole thing over the timestamp for history geeks.

    FWIW, I think there should be a dress code in the Senate and Fetterman should have to dress somewhat formally.

    I don't have patience for our resident shitposter pretending that Fetterman is disgracing the Senate while carrying water for insurrectionists who desecrated it.
