I don’t know if someone else would call you a racist because you couldn’t understand the shrill screeching of someone else, be they Mexican or Ukrainian - but I could not understand the majority of what she said.

I am sure she speaks better Ukrainian than I do - that’s not hard.

Jay Edgar Hoover has been dead for 60 years. The FBI has for the most part been apolitical, working through multiple administrations. That isn’t to say that the FBI didn’t **** certain groups or people, it just wasn’t straight down political lines …. But then again it still isn’t, Hilary Clinton isn’t exactly happy with the FBI.. nor is Donald Trump.

I'll state again the FBI and DOJ aren't perfect. They are made up of people and it's impossible to have people act totally without bias or flaw. This idea that the DOJ is hopeless biased just ins't supported by the facts. As noted in this very thread Turley himself acknowledges that there is a lot evidence against Trump and that the indictments against him are highly detailed. DOes Turley et al then just expect the DOJ not to investigate and follow up?

In other words their solution would be to actually politicize the DOJ and say that they shouldn't do their duty because of political concerns.

It is a political stunt being used, this time by Republicans (could be Democrats down the road) to deflect from the fact that the leader of their party is the most knowingly corrupt and scandalous President in US history. The facts are terrible for them so the strategy is to blame the investigative body (FBI) and any perceived impropriety diverts attention from them having to acknowledge that Donald Trump was unfit for President and his concern wasn’t the USA but himself.

    It really is that simple.

I agree and some of the criticism on the DOJ and FBI back when Clinton was being investigated was also unwarranted. That said I don't recall Democrats saying that the DOJ and FBI should be defunded because they were investigating the Democratic nominee for President.

I've been very critcal of the Defund the Police movement from the Left but at least that is about the mistreatment of black people and not just because members of their political party are being investigated and prosecuted.
