I have had a stiff neck for the past week. It is really sore and it is really very annoying! I've tried everything from sleeping in different positions to massages to stretching different ways to aspirin. I put IcyHot on my neck about 20 minutes ago and that doesn't seem to be helping any. Damn this hurts!!! :( When you have a stiff neck or a crick in your neck what do you do to at least relieve some of the pain because I don't expect to get rid of it all. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I had stiff necks etc. kinda often in the past. I bought myself a neckprotection pillow for my bed. Go to a specialstore for that
kind of stuff. It is worth the investment. I never had problems since.

It is a neck-support cushion - not neckprotection.

Watch the Rockets offense, you'll have so much pain elsewhere, you'll forget all about your neck. and you'll realize things could be worse.

best - a chateau/mansion in France - it was sick - unfortunately I forgot the name.

worst - hotel kabul in Amsterdam. If there would have been so much weed available to unclear my view it would have been even worse. Big big ****hole

I've gone to one for years for my back, but I'd be wary about how they "treat" your neck. I met a guy who had a stroke because of a chiropractic adjustment done on his neck. I can't find the link, but there is a website devoted to this problem.

No, none of those other symptoms but that's a scary thought because I had a cousin who had it several years ago in Houston and was blinded by it.

You have to somehow take water with your viagra so it doesn't get stuck in your throat.

HEAT. Heat loosens up the muscles and the strain.

had one last week now to think about it

Take some Ibuprofen/Advil and see if that helps. I bet it fixes you up.

Never, ever, ever go to a chiropractor.

It's pseudo-science. They belive you're born wrong, and have to be adjusted forever. "Treatment" never ends. The "crack" sound is just gas released from the fluid and bone displacement. There's nothing good or healthy about the practice.

If you want a good massage, just go to a massage therapist. There's no fake "medical" demand you come back, but you might want to. At least they won't hurt you. Unless you like that, of course. A lot of the girls at hair salons know people that do massage. Ask one of them. You might get one free.
