[2021 NFL Draft] 3rd Rd Texans Select Nico Collins Wr Michigan

I like, not love our WR group. So, I'm in a wait and see mode at the moment. But I do think they are interesting; Nico, Wood, Brown, Metchie, Dell, Hutchinson.

 

I hope y'all are right on Nico. I haven't seen much so far to make me think he is anything special. But maybe he surprises me with a better QB.

 

I thought Nico showed flashes but is always hurt

 

I was wrong about Nico. He’s that dude. All he needed was health and a legit qb. On a pro bowl pace. Never would have thought that from him.

 

You cant teach 6'4 with 4.4 speed. I'd like to give Nico more jump balls when in the red zone. He operates great in between the hashes and CJ is better at threading the needle than Davis Mills was. Great chemistry being built I really hope Nico busts out and helps CJ blossom.

 

Everyone's worried about drafting a "true #1 WR" next year when we may already have one.

 

As long as he runs his route a little sharper. He has the tools to be a #1 reciever.

 

A Michigan WR and an Ohio State QB, the odd couple…would still take MHJ if available though

I feel like we are not talking enough about Nico. We very well may have found our franchise WR in the 3rd. That is insanely valuable.

 

I could catch these beautiful balls stroud is throwing. im kidding, but not by much.

 

Not suggesting it will happen, but Collins, Tank and Bowers would be a great receiving core.
