Ding,ding...here's the answer. They just took 2 of 3 from us scoring 14 runs in the first 2 games. Sweep that arse.

While I agree with you, I don't he Abreu thinks that way. I think someone like Maldy, who knows he's not a good hitter thinks that way. Complete guess, but I think Abreu thinks of himself as a guy who can hit balls in the zone, and thought that pitch would be in the zone.

Could not believe they didn’t do that and pitch to Kessinger.

I see what you're saying somewhat.... but .233 says he don't hit balls in the zone so well. Maldy normally is in a 0-2 position more often than not.

They wanted to piss on us. Remember that. *If* we get to the playoffs, we are going to take them out. This year. Not sure about next year or the year after that; they good.

Astros can't lose another series this year. Would be great if they could start by sweeping the Royals but that's just too much to ask of this group.

If the Astros play their game they can beat anyone in the AL. That's why it's frustrating seeing the team frustratingly close to totally being out of the playoffs simply because the manager consistently doesn't put the team in the best spots. The AL is WIDE open.

I don't hate dubón. Hell this team is lucky he was on fire in the 1st half of the season.

I hate Johnnie for for playing him as an outfielder.

He's an infield utility player. Not outfield.

Dubon's whole look is water boy. It's junior varsity manager energy at all times, lol

Seattle vs Rangers for 7 games
Blue Jays vs Ray for 6 games
Stros vs themselves and Dusty for 9 games
    Everybody's cornered. Difficult af.

    May the best win.

Oakland scores 2 in the 6th to cut it to 6-3. A glimmer of hope they pull a miracle there. An A’s win would be absolutely MASSIVE.

Looking ahead, these are the current pitching matchups for Seattle after the weekend: Hunter Brown vs Castillo, Javier vs Kirby, France vs Bryce Miller. I know it’s unconventional, but would The Astros consider skipping Verlander’s Sunday start or Valdez’ Saturday start so that at least one of them pitch in what could be the biggest series of the year?
