Dusty needs ****ing go. Resting Yordan with 10 games to go and 2 more off days when you’re a loss away from being completely out of the playoffs is criminal
I think it's punishment for Yordan not taking the bat off his shoulder at the end of yesterday's game.
Welp, different day same story. Pitchers can’t even get out of the first inning unscathed, especially at home. We will be lucky to score 1 run against Bradish.
^^^THIS^^^ And what's sad is NOBODY in the Houston media will call him out on this or look him in the eyes and ask him not just "why" but tell him "what the F are you doing"? Ten games to go, battling to make the make the playoffs, and you sit (NOT REST given it's this late in the season and they have tomorrow off) one of THE best hitters in all of baseball. Has anyone ever considered that Dusty may be in early stages of dementia?? And where is Dana Brown??? Or Crane?? There is NO way in the world that they can be good with this.
Anybody got Yordan’s numbers against LHP over the last 20 or so games? I hate to think this is becoming the way they get him out, but hasn’t been the same since he came back from the IL. Yordan probably still hurt and they’re not disclosing it. His performance as of late has been less than his usual… still good, but teams currently not pitching around him.
They probably just threw in the towel this season and are looking to next season already. Dumping Dusty would be fun, but there are morons who still think he's a good manager so they want to avoid the PR hit and let him fail before sending him to the glue factory the second the season is over.
